Cool Personalized Photo Cards
Personalized Photo Cards
I know you have heard of personalized photo cards but what kind have you actually seen or made. I wanted to check out a few just to see what the options for sending greeting cards were at different sites. After seeing how to make the ones on www.fun-greeting-card-business.com and seeing how easy this was, I thought it only fair to check out a few others and see what kind of set up they had.
You Were Saying…
In the first place, at www.fun-greeting-card-business.com you can choose what photos you want to put on your card along with putting the text in a bubble of your choice. Even a thought bubble as if they were thinking it instead of saying it. The text you choose is in your own words and it can be emphasized however you would like for it to appear. The awesome part is you can make it as large or as small as you choose.
A couple of the other sites had the option for adding text but they were not in any type of bubble. Just at the bottom of the card and in their choice of font, size, color and boldness.
At www.fun-greeting-card-business.com you can choose your border, layout, the image quality - zoom in or zoom out - and you can even move your picture around until you have it where you want it.
The other sites let you upload a picture but it just stays on the card - no moving, adding borders, and changing the layout amounts to having a side view card or a top view card.
Who Wants the Same Old Boring Backgrounds Every Year?
The whole concept of personalized photo cards is so you can personalize them. When www.fun-greeting-card-business.com says personalize they mean it. You can change the background colors. The picture you choose can be in your choice of frame. A pin-up, a photo frame hanging on a wall, background colors of your choice, and you can even move your text bubbles around in the picture. This is really what they mean when they say personalized photo cards.
A few of the other sites allowed you to choose between a matte finish and a satin finish but that was all. Their idea of embellishing your card is to tell them what type of border you want around your photo. You are not having the fun of actually decorating your own card as in (personalized).(supposed to be italicised)
I really got excited just looking around at the possibilities that are available at www.fun-greeting-card-business.com when it comes to making the different types of cards. A Christmas photo greeting card would be awesome to design. Making the decisions of where and how you are going to place your photo, what are you going to say, and what type of border and colors should you use is part of the excitement.
Text to the Left, Text to the Right, Bottom or Top? Is This Personalized?
A holiday card on the other sites had your picture, text to the side - choice, right, left, bottom or top - and Christmas decorations around both. Come on. This is not personalized. And did I mention, their prices were a dollar more than www.fun-greeting-card-business.com charges.
For only $1.34 at www.fun-greeting-card-business.com your card will be a personalized card, it will have your actual signature and they will mail it for you.
Does Pre-Printed Mean Personalized Photo Cards?
The other sites do not have the option of using your own signature. On their cards it is pre-printed so it does not even look like a personalized card. It looks like what it is. A pre-printed card that you have had your picture added to.
On the other hand, a customized photo card from www.fun-greeting-card-business.com has YOUR options and YOUR signature on it because you made it. And in addition you can do it from your computer in your home. Your handwriting is used. Now, this is what personalized photo cards are all about.
I have to say that www.fun-greeting-card-business.com has by far the best personalized photo cards that I saw. They just have so much more that can be done with the cards. Playing, (and yes I said playing, because that is the feeling you get), with all the options available to customize your greeting card is the fun part of making a card to send to your friends and family.
