Which one cup coffee maker is the best way to brew? Keurig K Cups, Pod Coffee, or Tassimo T-DISCS?

Nowadays single cup coffee maker is so popular. Single-cup coffee allows you (and anyone else in your office) to produce one fresh, hot cup of coffee, everytime. Imagine, every time you wish a cup of coffee that the coffee is rich and fresh just like you get from a coffee house, just you didn’t have to leave your office to taste it. Single serve coffee maker is a technological lead beyond the super automatic espresso machine where a single button can dispense a good espresso. It mixes the advantages of fully automatic with the convenience of providing 1 cup when required.

There are basically 3 types of single-cup systems. One uses a pod, which is a circular, mesh-like, bag filled with coffee. The other is called a K-cup, developed by a company called Keurig. And the third ones is t-disc, developed by braun company. Most major single cup coffee brands sell their coffee in either one of both of these systems. The advantages of single-cup coffee are: no measuring–the coffee is pre-measured fresh and hot coffee each time no coffee grinds to throw away clean up is easy no filters.

K-cup

K Cups can only be brewed through the Keurig Machine. K-Cup portion packs are used with Keurig single cup brewing systems to brew a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Each K-Cup is a plastic container with a coffee filter inside. Ground coffee beans are packed in the K-Cup and sealed air-tight with a combination plastic and foil lid. When the K-Cup is placed in a Keurig brewer, the brewer punctures the foil lid and the bottom of the K-Cup and forces hot water under pressure through the K-Cup and into a mug. Keurig licenses its K Cup coffee technology to coffee roasters and tea makers such as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Diedrich/Gloria Jeans, Timothy’s World Coffee, Van Houtte, Caribou Coffee, Celestial Seasonings, Bigelow Tea Company, Twinings, Tully’s, Coffee People and Newman’s Own.

The Tassimo T-disc.

Manufactured by Braun and brought to you by Kraft, this system has some big names behind its new technology. Individually vacuum sealed discs contain an exact portion of gourmet coffee within a carefully designed filter system. The T-DISC also contains a barcode on the label read by the brewer to indicate which beverage is selected telling the brewer how to prepare the beverage. Because of the way the T-DISCS and brewered are designed, the system has the ability of creating many types of gourmet beverages. Beverage choices include cappuccino, latte, crema, espresso, tea, signature blend coffee and hot chocolate. This system is ideal for a large family who varies in tastes as well as get-togethers and corporate meetings. Selectable brew sizes, replaceable water filter, removable water reservoir as well as dishwater safe parts lend this brew system to be a strong competitor against the others. One very popular model is the Braun Tassimo coffee Hot Beverage System (TA1200) coffee maker. The Braun Tassimo has been given high marks by consumers for its ease of use and cleanup; its convenience; and for the quality of beverage produced. The only drawback is the cost of the coffee pods; but even so, most people who purchase the system report that it’s well worth the extra cost.

Pod coffee.

Coffee pod (also called coffee pads) are pre-packaged coffee beans in their own filter. Senseo is a patented coffee maker which uses these. A court ruled that their patent does not cover the pods, and that other companies may manufacture and sell pods that are compatible with the Senseo system. In non-English speaking countries like Germany and The Netherlands the word pad is used instead of pod. Specially formulated filter paper surrounds freshly ground coffee to create coffee ‘pods’. These units are circular in shape and range in weight depending on manufacturer. The coffee is ground to specific weight and oxygen is removed in the process to ensure maximum flavor and quality. Pods are accepted in a variety of brewers. Brand names like Grindmaster, BUNN, Melitta, KRUPS and Simplehuman are just a few of the manufacturers offering pod machines.

Whether you select Keurig, Tassimo or Pod brewing, you can’t lose! Just order a brewer, choose a variety of coffee and you will be able enjoy a perfect cup of coffee each time you brew.

Finding Shoes for Fat Feet

I have a very fat foot and finding shoes in my size has always been very difficult to do. I have no choice other than ordering online, as local retailers just do not like to carry wide width shoes. I guess there isn’t much of a market for them, atleast in my neck of the woods. I have finally found a great online store that meets me needs. I no longer have to stretch out my shoes before I can wear them.

ShoeLine is a great site if you are in need of shoes. Of course they carry more than just shoes for fat feet. They carry a wide range of widths and sizes and make finding the shoes that come in your size no problem. You can even search the shoes by style, price and/or color. This means you don’t have to navigate through thousands of pairs of shoes, hoping to find the size and color that you need. The site will search through all the shoes and only show you shoes that match your criteria. You can also order the shoes that match your search by the best matches, the arrival date, the brand, by price, and more. That helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

They aren’t limited to women’s shoes like some other sites, but also men’s and kids’s. I was also surprised to find that they carry handbags and purses as well. And who doesn’t need a great purse to complement their new shoes?

When I bought my shoes I found a great ShoeLine coupon code at FindSavings which made my purchase and even better buy. The updates I received by email from ShoeLine was great and I knew exactly when my order shipped and when to expect it. My order came quicker than I expected it to and all both pairs fit wonderfully. Thanks ShoeLine!

Social Anxiety Disorder

Not many people can say they are never shy or intimidated by a new situation or with people they don’t know. At one time or another, most of us have experienced anxiety when in a new social situation. But for people who suffer from a social anxiety disorder, most social events are avoided because these events often induce anxiety attacks which can be highly unpredictable and distressing.

Before making a diagnosis, it should be established that there are no medical conditions or drug side effects that could be causing the anxiety attack symptoms. Once those things are ruled out, a positive diagnosis is made if a person experiences an excessive amount of anxiety, fear, or panic as soon as they are with other people. Even though they often realize their fear is unreasonable and out of proportion, they can’t help feeling anxious and go to great lengths to avoid interacting with other people, to the extent they miss school or work, and resist meeting new friends.

Usually, people with social anxiety disorder are afraid to be seen or heard by other people. They are afraid to speak in a meeting or in class, don’t like to participate in sports, or even to eat or drink in front of others. A person with this disorder is sometimes hesitant to use a public restroom if others are nearby and greatly fears making a mistake in front of people.

It’s normal to feel anxious if you are going to an event where you don’t know anyone. And most people find it a little stressful to start a conversation with strangers. But when a person is afraid to express any personal opinion, to talk on the phone, or even to be assertive enough to ask for directions, they should see a doctor.

Antidepressants and anxiety medication are often used successfully to treat social anxiety disorder. However, the most helpful form of treatment is cognitive-behavioral therapy. Patients are taught to identify their anxious thoughts and replace them with more realistic ones. As well, they are exposed to the situations that cause them fear, whether through role-playing or actually confronting the feared situation. By confronting their fears repeatedly, the circumstances no longer trigger fear.

Sometimes people with social anxiety disorders also need social skills training to help them know how to act and what to say. Once they know exactly what to do in a situation, they feel much more comfortable and no longer practice anxious behaviors, such as not making eye contact, standing too far away, and speaking too quietly.

Social anxiety disorder is slightly more common in women than in men and can occur at any age. Medication can be helpful, but once it’s stopped, the problems usually return. Cognitive therapy can help raise self-esteem and lessen the panic often associated with being around people. Thanks to modern treatment, anxiety doesn’t have to hinder anyone from living a full and satisfying social life.
