Dog Airline Travel - Is Your Dog Safe Traveling on a Airline?

Don’t take for granted that just because your airline is without incident when it comes to a pet being lost, injured, or has died, that you should not take precautions when flying with your puppy or dog. It is a roll of the dice that you don’t want to chance when it comes to the life and wellbeing of your beloved pet!

If you are planning on flying with your pet you need to check out these airline approved dog crates

In fact, after reading through the following guidelines that should be taken before boarding your dog on a plane, you will realize just how important is.

Listen To Your Instincts In Regards To Your Dog’s Personality

Just because they are animals, it doesn’t mean that all dogs can easily cope with the experience of being locked up in a crate during an airplane ride. Every dog owner knows what his or her dog’s personality is like. Trust your gut instincts on whether or not you think your dog can handle the flight. If it doesn’t feel right, then your instincts are trying to tell you something about your dog’s separation anxiety.

Separation anxiety is a real condition that should not be overlooked. It is estimated that almost 20% of all dogs suffer at some level from separation anxiety. These personality types make very poor candidates for airplane travel. Such dogs should not be left alone and when their condition reaches elevated levels, it is not uncommon for a dog to literally chew through a metal cage in the attempt of trying to escape, causing severe injuries that can cause the dog to bleed to death.

If you are still going to fly you will want to do a simple exercise before your departure date to condition your dog to be used to being in their crate. You do this by having a crate located in your house and having your dog in it as much as possible before your date of travel comes up. This can be done during meals, sleep time, and while driving around in the car.

Eventually, he will be totally comfortable inside the crate and this will aid in making the dog feel more secure during the plane ride. Besides separation anxiety or being crate anxious, there is still yet another danger while flying that we’ve not discussed. It is not uncommon for dogs during flights to be lost or put on the wrong aircraft. The chances of this can be greatly reduced by taking only direct flights; flights that have no connecting flights to destinations.

Yes, Your Dog May Get Lost When Accidentally Transferred To A Different Airplane

One of our previous tips for dog owners and air travel was to only select direct flights. Many times, passengers and their luggage may have to transfer to two or more different airplanes before reaching their final destination. It is during these times when some dogs become lost, never to be found again. They accidentally get transferred to the wrong airplane and never make it back to the owner.

To minimize the chances of your dog not making its way back to you, the best thing you can do is ensure proper identification. Have a permanent ID securely attached to your pet that has your phone number, home address, and any contact information about the place you are traveling to. Microchips and tattoos are also options that can be taken. They may seem extreme but when it comes to your dog and the possibility of him getting lost during air travel, it’s definitely worth it, wouldn’t you agree?

Texture Is An Important Element In Interior Design

You don’t need to be a professional interior designer to turn your home into something stylish, but it does no harm to follow the same interior design principles they have been taught. Interior designers spend many hours carefully selecting and putting together interestingly colored and patterned materials.  It is also very simple to choose highly expensive items.  However, interior designers know that neither of these precautions will guarantee a successful outcome if insufficient attention is given to the textural quality of your choices.  A completely “flat” scheme of materials with similar finishes will lack life and can appear dull, however, by adding textures you will create excitement in a scheme. Think of how a shiny lacquer console table against a wall of suede would look, or a polished marble top on a floor covered with rough medieval matting, or lustrous chintz cushions on a matt flannel sofa.

Designers know how texture can have a big influence on how interior design color is perceived:  a matt material such as velvet fabric or emulsion paint will absorb light, rendering it darker, while a shiny one such as chintz or gloss paint, will reflect it and make the color appear brighter and more intense.  They also know that to get good value from your selected textures, and to complete the overall scheme, focused lighting is imperative.  A useful tip taught at interior design schools is to obtain a powerful torch and point it at different furnishings within your home. You will notice how the beam of light brings out the textural quality and gives objects a three-dimensional “moulded” effect.

Car Rentals Agency To Rely Upon

As a regular user of car rental agencies I get around 10 emails per day from Car Rental firms promoting their latest special offers and discounted vehicle rental prices in Europe and America.  I think I’ve managed to get a good pick out of the hundreds of companies pushing car rentals on the internet… yet everythime I book a flight, or order a hotel somewhere it seems the travel agency or hotel etc ask me about my car rental needs !!!

I need to know if the price they are being offered is a competitive price?  yes there is plenty of competition out there in the car rental market nowadays but with such a huge choice its got to the stage where we need a comparison site that gives the best prices available.

With price comparison sites jumping up all over the place it makes sense to check them out, they seem very good when it comes to insurance and buying a car, but not when it comes to rental it seems, Thankfully the RentIn Group are using a system which presents data from the top 30 or so car rental companies around the world and sort through the results that they give you to provide the customer with the best choice of car rentals available on any specific day.  The system is integrated into special sites as I’ve seen it running in a few different websites Marbella Car Rentals is one.  (Ideal if you need to pick up a rental car from Malaga for instance and drive down the sunny coast of the Costa Del Sol|This site specialises in providing car rentals for collection at Malaga Airport Spain|An ideal website for private apartments and car rentals in Andalucia|Perfect for travelling around the Costa Del Sol}.  Also the Nerja accomodation and car rental agency have the same car rental booking system in their website too!.

I’ve heard that the property rental group Rentin.TV is including this car rental portal in every niche property rental site they have through their whole network… so the day might be just around the corner where we only have to think of one name “Rent In” when we need to find a guaranteed low price for car rental wherever we are in the world !!
