Well-known Diet Myths Exposed
February 8th, 2010
The fat burning market includes a considerable volume of specifics. Much of it is very useful and factual but over time some of it loses accuracy and reliability. So, various diet myths come along and people start believing in them, when the truth is they aren’t factual in anyway. So let’s have a look at several of them and reveal them for just what they in fact are… myths.
Certain Diets For Targeted Areas – The first myth is that there are specific weight loss diets that will help get rid of a lot of fat from some areas of the body. This is certainly not the case in the least. It is our body that decides where it is going to burn the fat from. It works exactly the same way when putting excess fat on, it’s your body that selects the spots to store the surplus energy. Which means that overall body weight loss is the only point you can concentrate on and in due course our body will decide to use the unwanted fat from the place where you really want to lose it from.
High Protein Weight loss plans Can Work Long Term – High protein, low carb diet programs work best for shedding weight quickly. But in the long term they can really be quite harmful if you don’t follow them correctly. They can unbalance the harmful chemicals in the body and it can often lead to a higher level of serotonin which can lead to depression along with other issues. A well balanced diet with proper exercise is the only real way to shed pounds healthily in the long term.
Eating At Night Is Good Since you Sleep It Off – A lot of people handle eating like alcohol. They figure they will just have that final drink because they will sleep it off and feel great the next day. However eating foods at night is the worst time to do it. This is because your body has zero possibility to burn any of it off and it will just be stored. Then the next day, it will just simply burn off the fuel you put in at breakfast and if you don’t exercise it will keep your calories eaten the night before as unwanted weight on the body. So keep your eating at night down to a bare minimum.
